Honoring america’s heroes

For the last decade, we focused more and more of our ministry to military marriages by focusing on 20 wounded warrior couples. These heroic men were either gravely wounded in Iraq or Afghanistan serving in the US military. About 40% of them came from Special Forces units (Green Beret and Para Rescue) and the remaining heroes served in the Navy, Army, Air Force, or Marines.

These men and women that comprise the Honoring America’s Heroes ministry arm of America’s Family Coaches and have been one of the most satisfying seasons of our ministry. These heroic couples have gone deeper in their faith in Christ, marriages, and community. As citizens, we have taken seriously the call to do all we can to serve our veterans who have sacrificed to serve us and preserve our freedom! “We Choose to Remember” has been our motto.

We are humbled to have served as marriage coaches for our heroes and their spouses for six years.

We served these heroes by gathering them annually for a Marriage Getaway, where we coached them in their marriages and joined with them in strengthening their community. Each year, we gathered, they reinforced their relationships; in building authenticity and transparency in marriage as well as in community.

We also hosted regular Zoom calls whereby we continued coaching throughout the year. As the years progressed, couples within the community began hosting marriage studies, women’s groups, and digging deep in relationships.

celebrating the succession of honoring america’s heroes

As we were leaning into this next phase of succession with our heroes, we found what we believe is God’s provision of a great opportunity to sustain the coaching for our heroes and spouses:

The Taya and Chris Kyle Foundation, TACK-F.

We’re handing the baton to Taya Kyle, the wife of the American Sniper, Chris Kyle. She will continue the marriage coaching of our heroes through her organization TACK-F.

In February of 2022, The Taya and Chris Kyle Foundation and America’s Family Coaches announced the transition of Honoring America’s Heroes military marriage program to TACK-F with the goal of ensuring uninterrupted programming and continuity of support for wounded servicemen, their spouses, and families.

“We are honored to take the HAH mission forward,” said Kyle.”Through integration with TACK-F, HAH marriage program participants will continue their journey to forge ahead with the tools they need to be more empowered and strengthened as couples. The program aligns perfectly with our own mission and unswerving devotion to serving the nation’s defenders, veterans, and first responders by creating unique programs designed to heal, enrich, and strengthen service to marriages and families. We know the married warrior cannot fully heal without healing in the family.”

We, the Rosbergs, have committed to mentor Taya and her team in any way they need over the next two years

We are directing our financial partners who desire to continue donating to military marriage ministries to give to TACK-F. Taya and her team have our full support as they continue to serve military marriages.
